I am so happy to announce that Told In Pictures' music video Never Stop (Live Version) has been honoured with a Sir Edmund Hillary Award at the recent 2018 Mountain Film Festival!

Thank you so much to the festival whose mission is to 'enlighten, celebrate, and enrich' and 'fosters appreciation for the art of movie making and its power to inspire and communicate a richness of ideas and cultures'.  The festival accepts films of all genres and 'especially encourages films with an emphasis on mountain culture, action sports and environmental issues'. www.mountainfilmfestival.com

Never Stop (Live Version), the video, the promotional music video for my rock and roll audio drama set in the 1960s, 'Jim' soon to be on iTunes as a podcast on ToldbyJo Audiodrama, features footage of the original recording of the song Never Stop (Live Version) written and performed by singer songwriter Jonty Balls of London based rock band Desert Mountain Tribe who I commissioned to write the soundtrack for 'Jim', and stars actors Charlotte Quita Jones and Cesare Taurasi, who play the main roles in the play.  There is 'mountain' inspired footage which I shot in 2014 at a beautiful waterfall location in the Pyrenees in Spain when we were at the Huesca Film Festival with my film A Short Epic About Love which the actors also star in.  My radio drama, produced in 2015, includes a scene at a scenic canyon and waterfall in the California desert and 'Spain' doubled for California beautifully to illustrate this in the video.

I am so happy about the music video's continued success on the film festival circuit.  It has now enjoyed over 40 festival selections and won several awards to date.
